Point Loma Real Estate Photographer
Point Loma homes, between the bay and the ocean.
Loma Portal cottages to La Playa bayfront estates — a peninsula with water on both sides and a different best shot on each. Point Loma has water on both sides, and the right shot depends entirely on which slope the house sits on — bay and downtown skyline to the east, open ocean at Sunset Cliffs to the west. Add Shelter Island marina context and the peninsula covers three distinct visual stories in one community.

The Point Loma market
Why presentation
wins here.
Point Loma is a peninsula with genuinely two-sided geography, and that shapes everything about how a listing there should be photographed. The east slope looks across the bay to the downtown skyline; the west side drops to open ocean at Sunset Cliffs. The stock spans Spanish-revival cottages in Loma Portal to bayfront estates in La Playa, drawing move-up buyers, Navy families, and second-home coastal buyers who are frequently shopping from out of the area.
What sets Point Loma apart on camera
A two-sided peninsula running from Spanish-revival cottages to bayfront estates needs east-slope bay-and-skyline sight lines, west-side ocean sunsets, and marina framing at Shelter Island — with aerials verified per address, since much of the peninsula is restricted.

Our work in Point Loma
We shoot Point Loma to the side of the peninsula the home actually sits on. Bay-and-skyline sight lines from the east slope, open-ocean sunsets on the Sunset Cliffs side, and marina and boat-slip context down at Shelter Island for the buyers for whom that is the point. Liberty Station and village walkability round out the lifestyle frames.

Common questions
answered.
Can you fly a drone in Point Loma?
Sometimes — and this is one market where we will not promise it before checking your address. Point Loma sits directly under San Diego International's approach corridor, so many grids carry a zero-foot ceiling. Cabrillo National Monument is National Park Service land where drone use is prohibited outright, and Naval Base Point Loma and Fort Rosecrans add federal restrictions along the peninsula's spine. Send us the address and we will tell you honestly whether aerials are possible before you pay for them.
What if aerials are not possible at my Point Loma listing?
We shoot the view from the ground properly instead — elevated tripod work, deck and window sight lines composed so the bay or ocean reads as the feature it is, and twilight timed to the side of the peninsula you are on. A good ground-level view frame beats no frame, and we would rather tell you upfront than take the aerial fee and deliver nothing.
How much does real estate photography cost in Point Loma?
Photography starts at $225 for homes under 1,500 sq ft. Larger homes are $275 (1,500–3,000 sq ft), $335 (3,000–5,000), and $395 (5,000+), and every shoot is full coverage with no photo caps. 3D tours from $225, expedited delivery $145. Drone is quoted only where it is actually flyable.
Do you shoot Shelter Island and La Playa waterfront?
Yes. Bayfront and slip-adjacent properties are a specialty — we frame the water access, the dock or slip where there is one, and the skyline across the bay, which is the view that distinguishes a La Playa listing from anything else on the peninsula.
