Bright, true light vs. a dark, murky room
Who fixes it: Agent + photographer

The room is shot with whatever light happened to be on. Corners go muddy, whites turn yellow-gray, and the camera has to choose between a dark room and windows that glow pure white.
Why buyers care
“Lots of natural light” is near the top of almost every buyer’s wish list. A dark photo tells them this home doesn’t have it, even when it does.
The fix
The photographer lights each room on purpose and blends exposures, so the room is bright, the colors are true, and the view out the window survives. In San Diego that view (canyon, ocean, or garden) is often half the appeal. Your part: open every blind, turn on every light, and swap dead or mismatched bulbs before the shoot.
